Welcome to my site!
I’m a writer, editor, and digital strategist living in New York City. I grew up in Westchester, NY, and after graduating from college at James Madison University (Go Dukes!) in Virginia, I made my way back home, and moved to Manhattan.
After working as an editor at health and fitness magazines and publications—namely Shape Magazine, DailyBurn, and Self.com—for years, I finally made the decision to go full-time freelance.
My stories have appeared in The New York Post, Cosmopolitan, Self, Shape, Health, Men’s Fitness, Muscle & Fitness, Muscle & Fitness HERS, Dr. Oz The Good Life, Pilates Style, Rachael Ray Every Day, Redbook, and Max Sports & Fitness.
I’ve also written online for Glamour, GQ, espnW, Allure, Prevention, Men’s Health, Women’s Health, MadeMan, AskMen, DailyBurn, Furthermore, and The Fine Line Mag.
When I’m not testing a fitness and nutrition program, training like a Victoria’s Secret angel, interviewing Colin Kaepernick or Luke Kuechly, or reviewing the latest and greatest cold weather running gear, you can find me weight training, at a workout studio in NYC, hiking a mountain with my mom, binge watching terrible reality TV shows, cheering on my beloved Green Bay Packers, or traveling the world.
I’ve been to 14 countries, have run five half marathons, completed a triathlon, biked two century rides, and finished one Tough Mudder and four Spartan races including a beast at Squaw Mountain in North Lake Tahoe. I’m a mashed potato connoisseur, love a good cocktail or glass of red wine, hate feet, and am a sucker for a new pair (or 10!) of sneakers.
